Ozone Contact Snow V5 Control bar

The Contact Snow V5 is the Contact control system adapted for snowkiting. It keeps the clean layout and easy trim of the water bar and adds a Re-Ride system, which lets you land the kite and continue your session instead of packing up and starting from scratch — a big advantage when you are far from the car.

Safety the simple way. The push-away Click-In Loop reloads with one click and is AFNOR NF S52-503 certified. Attach your leash to the flag-out eyelet on the stainless swivel ring and the kite will flag out when you release; experienced riders can use expert mode. Re-launch balls on the leader lines help when the kite is down.

Built for cold hands. A Clamcleat trimmer with a custom grab handle, a 3D-pressed EVA grip colour-coded to the lines, a lightweight CNC aluminium centre piece and a PU-covered depower line. Flying lines are bio-based Dyneema, 500 kg front and 300 kg back, cut, pre-stretched and spliced in Ozone's own factory with modular extensions.

Who it is for. Snowkiters flying Ozone open-cell kites such as the Explore V3. If you ride the expedition EXP, Ozone built the Snow EXP V5 bar specifically for it, with a double-ring trim that is easier to use in polar gloves.
