Ripped a kite? That is our problem, not yours

Cheaper, but you pay for repairs as they come.

  • Never more than the price of a new one

Deposit: 500 €

Not covered by any tier

  • Lost equipment
  • Damage while riding in restricted areas or under a storm warning
  • Passing the gear to someone else
  • Riding under the influence
  • Total loss of the kite — damaged beyond repair

Who we rent to

IKO Level 3 and above. In practice that means:

  • You ride upwind confidently
  • You control speed by edging
  • You launch and land the kite yourself
  • You can self-rescue and pack down in deep water

No IKO card — one hour of assessment with an instructor, after which we hand over the gear and issue the certificate.

A few more things

  • Rental time runs from the moment you collect the gear until you bring it back. A rental ends with a check-over: we go through the kite, bar, board and harness together.
  • Kite and board sizes can be swapped during the day at no extra cost when the wind changes.
  • On our Crimea spots a windless week is recalculated: you pay the daily rate minus 20 % for the windy days only, not for the whole booked period.
  • We may end a rental early in case of careless handling, dangerous riding or unreasonable behaviour on the water.
  • Damaged something — tell us straight away. Damage discovered at check-in and not reported is settled under the no-cover tier, whichever tier you chose.
