Description
The Race V5 is Ozone's racing control system. The heart of it is the double-pulley trim: it makes small, precise power changes easy, and the long trim line can be reached while you are hiked out, so you never give away power to adjust the kite.
A removable brake handle helps with inflation, self-landing and reverse relaunch when you fly a foil kite, and can be taken off for inflatables. Lines are low-drag, colour-coded bio-based Dyneema rated 300 kg front and 200 kg back, made and spliced in Ozone's factory.
Safety comes from the push-away Click-In Loop quick release (AFNOR NF S52-503 certified) with one-click reload, a spinning head with an anti-twist flag-out line and three loop sizes.
Who it is not for. Freeriders don't need race trim or lighter race lines; the Contact Water V5 or Foil Contact Water V5 will last longer and is easier to live with. Not sure which race bar suits your kite? Ask us before ordering.
