Kite safari in Egypt: a week on a yacht across Red Sea spots
You live on board and every day the boat goes where the wind is: lagoons, sandbanks by the islands and spots you can't reach from the shore. Two sessions a day, rescue from the boat, a group put together by K1. We're forming groups for 2027 — dates and price on request.
A yacht instead of a hotel
Cabin, meals and moving between spots all happen on board. No daily drive to a station and back.
Spots reachable only by water
Shallow lagoons and sandbanks by the islands that only a boat can get to. Few people on the water.
More time on the water
A morning and an afternoon session every day. The captain picks the route by the wind forecast and sea state.

How the week goes
Day 1 — arrival
Evening check-in on the yacht in Hurghada marina, gear stowed, briefing, dinner on board.
Days 2–5 — riding
Breakfast, morning session, lunch, afternoon session, dinner. Between sessions the yacht moves to the next spot.
Day 6 — last day
Morning session, lunch and the cruise back to the marina. Farewell dinner.
Day 7 — departure
Breakfast and check-out in the morning.
The programme is a guide: on a windy day we ride more, on a calm day we change spot.
Who it's for
Independent riders
You water-start and ride upwind — that's the core safari format: new spots and as much riding as possible.
Still learning
Tell us where your skills are now: we'll say honestly whether the week suits you and what to work on before the trip.
Friends travelling together
A group can take the whole yacht, so the route and rhythm of the week are yours.

Kite safari FAQ
Do I need to ride independently?▾
The safari is for riders who water-start and ride upwind. If you're still learning, tell us your level and we'll say whether the week suits you and what to work on first.
When can I go?▾
The northern Red Sea is one of the windiest areas for kitesurfing. We pick the 2027 weeks by wind statistics and send them together with the price.
How many people are on the yacht?▾
The yacht takes up to 30 guests in 12 double cabins and 3 suites. We'll confirm the group for a specific week when you sign up.
How much does the kite safari cost?▾
