What is snowkiting?▾
Riding skis or a snowboard pulled by a kite across open snowfields. The wind pulls you forward while you steer the kite and glide over the snow.
Do I need kite, ski or snowboard experience?▾
No, we teach from zero. Ski, snowboard or water-kite experience makes progress faster, but it isn't required.
Where are the lessons near Moscow?▾
In Zavidovo — our travelling K1 school works in the Moscow region, so you don't have to travel far for your first kite on snow.
When is the snowkiting season?▾
In winter, when there is stable snow cover and wind. We set exact lesson and tour dates by the weather — ask for current dates on WhatsApp or Telegram.
What should I bring?▾
Warm windproof clothing, gloves, ski goggles and a good mood. Kite, harness and gear are provided.
How much are snowkiting lessons?▾
It depends on the format — a private session, a course from zero or a tour. Ask for current prices on WhatsApp or Telegram and we will match a programme to your level.
How is snowkiting different from kitesurfing?▾
Same principle — the kite pulls you along a surface — but you ride skis or a snowboard on snow instead of a board on water. Kite-control skills carry over, so many people do both.
