Frequently asked questions

Which camp should I choose?▾

Want to ride even without wind and start from zero with little physical strain — surf. Want Mui Ne's signature sport and speed — kite. Like the idea of flying over the water and want something easier than kiting to start — wing. Not sure — message us and we'll match it to your weight, experience and dates.

Can I combine two sports?▾

Yes, for example surf on the morning waves and kite in the afternoon wind. We put that programme together by hand: send your dates and sports and we'll send a price.

What is included in every camp?▾

Stay at Sandunes Beach Resort with breakfast, a course with an instructor and all gear, return transfer from Ho Chi Minh City or Cam Ranh airport, video analysis, a dunes trip and a team dinner.

Is Mui Ne good for a surf camp?▾

For beginners and improvers, yes. In winter the monsoon brings wind swell of about 0.5–1.5 m, cleaner in the morning — good for learning from scratch. Bali or Sri Lanka have ocean groundswell for experienced surfers. Mui Ne's advantage is steady wind all winter, so you can mix surfing with kiting or wing foiling in one place.

Can I come with family or friends?▾

Yes. The room is priced per room, the course per person and the transfer per car, so two or four of you pay less each. Non-riders don't need a course.
