Surf Camp in Mui Ne, Vietnam — December to February
One or two weeks by the sea in peak season: surfing every morning, a beachfront stay, airport transfer and all the logistics handled. Suitable from zero: start in the whitewater, finish riding green waves.
Morning waves
In winter the monsoon brings wind swell; it is cleaner in the morning, so that is when we surf.
No holiday prices
Camps run before and after the holidays — until 28 December and from 3 January: the hotel and flights cost less and the spot is quieter.
A structured programme
Three stages: whitewater → green waves → independent surfer. Skills are logged on your student card.
What's included
Beachfront stay
Sandunes Beach Resort with breakfast and pool. The K1 station is on the hotel beach, a couple of minutes from your room.
Course and gear
Private lessons with an instructor and all the gear for the course — no extra rental fees.
Return airport transfer
From Ho Chi Minh City or Cam Ranh airport to the hotel and back. A 4-seat car, or a 7-seater with boards and bags.
Video analysis
We film your sessions and go through them in the evening — the fastest way to fix mistakes.
Sand dunes trip
Mui Ne's red and white dunes at sunrise — on a windless day or a day off.
Team dinner
A dinner with the instructors and other campers on the last evening.

How the camp works

Arrival day
Airport pick-up, transfer, check-in. In the evening, meet the team at the station and a safety briefing.

Every morning
A surf lesson on the morning waves; free surfing on your camp board later in the day.

Twice a week
Evening video analysis: we review your waves and fix your stance and pop-up.

A flat day
Sunrise trip to the dunes or a rest day, depending on conditions.

Team dinner and a wrap-up: which level you reached and what to practise next.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need any experience?▾
No. The camp works from zero: the first lessons are in the whitewater on a soft board, and after 7–14 days most students ride green waves. Experienced surfers get a programme for their level.
What are the waves like in Mui Ne in winter?▾
Monsoon wind swell, usually 0.5–1.5 m. It is cleaner in the morning, so lessons are in the morning. Great for learning, not ocean groundswell for advanced surfers.
Is the price per person?▾
The room is priced per room, the course per person and the transfer per car. Enter how many of you are coming and the calculator shows the total and the price per person.
Can I stay over New Year?▾
