Ozone Foil Race V5 Control bar

On a race course you trim constantly — on the upwind leg, before the mark, in the gusts — and you can't afford to sit up to do it. The Foil Race V5 is built around that. Its double-pulley trim system adjusts precisely on the go, and the long trim line means you can trim while fully hiked out and keep maximum power against the kite.

Made for foil kites. A removable brake handle makes inflating, self-landing and reverse relaunching easier; Ozone says to always use the brake when you fly a foil kite. The flying lines are thinner than on the freeride bars — 300 kg front and 200 kg back — for less drag, in colour-coded bio-based Dyneema made in Ozone's factory with modular extensions.

Safety. The push-away Click-In Loop reloads with a click and is AFNOR NF S52-503 certified, with three loop sizes, a spinning head with anti-twist flag-out line and soft adjustable bar ends.

Who it is for. Riders racing the R1 V5 or flying the Mach1 hard on a foil. For relaxed foil-kite freeride, the Foil Contact Water V5 is simpler and uses stronger lines.
