Description
A collaboration between two different people: Stu Kenson, a past Icons of Foam Shaping champion, and Taylor Jensen, 4× world longboard champion. Dan Mann introduced them, and Jensen rode the result on the World Longboard Tour in 2024.
The brief was a modern noserider — a board you can walk to the tip and hang ten on, while still actually turning it.
The geometry. A wide single concave nose and a forward wide point give stability on the tip, which is what a noserider exists for. The tucked hard edge in the tail does the opposite job: accelerating off the bottom and making cutbacks easy. The bottom contours flow gently between the two.
It also matters that this stays a light longboard, without the weight of a traditional log.
Who it isn't for. Performance longboarding has the TJ Pro. In small, choppy surf the length gets in the way. And weight: a light longboard behaves differently from a heavy traditional one — not all your log habits transfer.
