Description
The TJP isn't an all-rounder, it's a competition tool. It has carried Jensen to four WSL World Longboard Championships.
Two things separate it from the stock 900R: slightly more aggressive bottom contours and a touch more kick in the tail. Both serve the same end — going vertical. More tail kick means a shorter turning radius: the board comes up rather than running out along a long arc.
None of which removes the pleasure of riding a long board — the maker is explicit that vertical performance here doesn't cancel out cruising.
Construction. I-Bolic Core — an I-beam core with rail flex controlled by high density foam. Volcanic Lamination — basalt instead of carbon, the most durable in the range.
Who it isn't for. Noseriding and classic style have the Special T and Singleton. A competition longboard is awkward for beginners: it wants active input, not passive glide.
