The Spun Honey is based on Dan's popular Spitfire model, a short, compact groveler with the wide point a touch towards the tail from center but further forward to the nose than the Sweet Potato, with a tapered diamond tail. Underneath, the bottom contour is a pretty aggressive double concave set within a solid single concave, similar to the bottom of the Sweet Potato, with the double running further forward to the nose than most boards. This double concave bottom contour delivers speed, lift, and fluid rail-to-rail performance, benefits Dan learned from his S Boss and Boss Up shapes with a similar bottom. Dan's included his famous step rail from the Spitfire, also featured on the Mashup, that allows him to hide a lot of volume in the center of the shape while maintaining bladey, knifey rails. In terms of where the Spun Honey fits in Dan's range of shapes, it offers more performance than his Sweet Potato but less performance than his Dominator 2.0.
