The Spun Honey was built for freesurfer and firefighter Kevin Schulz on the basis of the Spitfire, one of Firewire's iconic shapes.
The headline trait, stated by the maker, is a giant sweet spot: the board forgives imprecise foot placement. The diamond tail delivers snappy pivots, added bite and smooth release at the same time.
The target is specific — the fast, shifting walls of beach breaks, where the wave breaks unpredictably and reaction speed decides everything.
