Description
Machado tells the story himself. He'd wanted to play with longer fishy boards for a while — ever since spending time with Skip Frye and seeing his fishes in the 7-foot range. He first stretched the Go Fish into a 7'0″, which worked and got his mind spinning. Then he made a 7'0″ Seaside, and it became one of his favourite boards.
His own read on the range: he rode it on super small days, on bigger days and everything in between. A board he takes everywhere. It glides, it turns on a dime and, most importantly in his words, it puts a smile on his face.
Helium Core. A stringerless EPS core with rail flex from Paulownia and Balsa.
Who it isn't for. It isn't a shortboard: seven feet of fish asks for different turning technique and different paddling. Hollow, powerful surf wants something short.
