Description
The KS1 is the 11× world champion's upright template. Upright is the operative word: the closer a fin sits to vertical, the tighter the turning radius. The board pivots on a point in the pocket instead of drawing a long arc.
It's the working choice for powerful waves and a sharp style. The trade is the same as any pivot template: less drive down the line than its raked siblings.
Construction uses carbon inlays around a core that is 90% air — strength and flex at almost no weight, and the fins float.
Single tab variants are compatible with the Futures fin system.
Who it isn't for. Midlengths, longboards and long arcs want the KSR or Velox. And check your box system.
