The Sensor 4S Pro differs from the standard 4S in exactly one respect: the lines. Shaft, quick release, safety system and adjuster are the same.

Tectanium 2 lines. Thinner than standard lines, yet stiffer and markedly stronger in tension. Thinner means less drag; stiffer means bar input reaches the kite without delay and without vagueness. That is what the price difference buys.

Who actually needs it. Riders who read nuances in the kite's behaviour and work at the limit: big air, loops under full load, racing. If you freeride for pleasure you will most likely not feel the difference, and the honest choice is the standard 4S.

Shared foundation with the 4S. IKO-certified SFS+ safety: the kite flags out completely on a single front line with no residual pull, with fixed and pulley bridles alike. The CIC quick release is ISO 21853:2020 certified — tested in sand, under load and in freezing conditions. The long-fibre carbon shaft is stiff enough that the titanium insert became unnecessary.

Usability. The 4:1 adjuster quarters the force required. Front lines untwist themselves on a ceramic bearing. Flextrim in the floater lets you tune backlines without untying knots. Service inserts change without dismantling the bar.

A word on the short version. A 45 cm shaft is available for the Pro, reducing to 41.5 cm via the rotating mounts in the ends. The point is twofold: small kites are controlled more precisely in waves and on foil, and freestylers are less likely to oversteer big kites.
