CrazyFly Savvy Bar XT

The Savvy Bar XT is the same bar as the Savvy, with one difference: instead of fixed 24 m lines, it comes with 18 m lines plus 4 m and 2 m extensions. That lets you change line length for conditions — shorter for faster, more direct handling and for strong wind, longer for more power and range in light wind.

The bar. A Simple Click Reload push-away quick release with a bright red handle; a four-line system where one front line flags the kite out completely and stably, with no extra safety line; an auto swivel that untwists the front lines when you pull the bar down; and width adjusters that switch between 45 cm (7–10 m kites) and 50 cm (12–15 m) in seconds.

Durability. All parts are quickly replaceable, spare Delrin centre inserts are included, the power lines run through PU tubes, and the delta-shaped grip is Italian leather. Lines are low-stretch Liros from Germany, for direct steering with light input. It comes with a bar bag, short safety leash, 20 cm freeride chicken loop, spare parts and manual.

Compatibility. The Y split is 6 m from the bar: fine for kites with pulleys or sliders and for fixed bridles with a Y 3–9 m from the bar. Fully compatible with CrazyFly kites from 2023; with 2022 and older, use it only up to 12 m.

Who it is not for. If you always ride standard 24 m lines, the regular Savvy does the same job for less.
