The Sensor 4 Pro differs from the standard Sensor 4 in its lines: Tectanium 2 Vario. The rest of the construction is the same.

What the Tectanium 2 lines give you. They are thinner than standard lines yet stiffer and stronger. Thinner means less aerodynamic drag, which tells on long lines. Stiffer means bar input reaches the kite instantly, without any vagueness in the response. That is what you buy the Pro for.

The Vario system stays. A base 18 m plus 2 m and 4 m extensions gives four lengths: 18, 20, 22 and 24 m. Short for sharper steering, long for higher jumps. It changes in a couple of minutes on the beach.

Safety is shared with the standard version. SFS+: the kite flags out on a single front line with no residual pull, with fixed and pulley bridles alike. The CIC quick release is ISO 21853:2020 certified — tested in sand, under load and at extreme temperatures.

Titanium core. It stiffens the shaft, raises breaking load and allows the double line channel through the centre with replaceable inserts.

Who needs it. Riders working at the limit who read the kite through feedback: big air, loaded loops, freestyle. For unhooked riding, the longer CORE Pro leash pairs with the Pro instead of the standard short one.

Who honestly does not. The rider who freerides for pleasure. The difference in lines is real but not everyone feels it, and the standard Sensor 4 does the same job for less.

Adjustment. Width 50 or 46.5 cm in one movement, high or low V in seconds, 4:1 adjuster, automatic front line untwisting.
