Hubboards Dubb Edition PP HD Bodyboard

The polypropylene version of the Dubb Edition. A Kinetic 1.9 PP core makes the board lighter and stiffer: it carries speed where PE starts to bog down and projects harder off the lip. The 60/40 rails are unchanged, so this is still a board built to hold on a long open face. Combine that with a stiff PP core and you have a weapon for powerful surf: fast, grippy, and not prone to unexpected slides. Double EXT stringers in every size except the 45.5", which gets three — at that length two are no longer enough and the board starts to flex. An 8lb PE deck, HDPE slick, graduated channels and a crescent tail with a reinforcing tail piece. Polypropylene is a warm-water material. Below roughly 18 °C it stiffens further and the board can feel dead.
