Houston is Jared Houston's shape, and it looks meaningfully different from the Hubbard boards: narrower and straighter. Less width means less water caught sideways, so the board answers a shift in weight almost immediately. That's a template for reactive prone riding — short sharp moves in the pocket rather than long drawn arcs. A beginner will find a narrow board twitchy; an experienced rider will find it precise. PE core, 8lb PE deck with contour line, double EXT stringers. Underneath there are slick bulbs — raised sections that reduce contact area and free up glide — plus an HD slick and graduated channels.
