Hubboards Houston QuadCore FLEX with Sci-Five Bodyboard

The Houston QuadCore FLEX puts Jared's narrow outline on the lightest core Hubboards build. QuadCore uses 1.2 PP in place of 1.9: lighter overall, with polypropylene recoil intact. What's added is controlled flex — precisely what stiff PP boards tend to lack on a steep face or in cold water. Sci-Five moulds five narrow channels into the slick. Water is driven through them under pressure, lift builds at the tail and drag falls away. The gain shows up most on flat sections where an ordinary board bogs. Inside there are two layers of mesh (standard in the QuadCore build), a single CFT stringer, an 8lb PE deck with the Houston contour and nose bulbs. Surlyn slick, crescent tail, 55/45 rails. The most technical board in the Houston family, and the one bought by people who know exactly why they want the extra speed.
