Description

Hauoli VF stands for Volume and Flex — extra float and a soft core in the same board, which is an unusual pairing. High-volume boards are normally built stiff. The volume buys you paddling: easier take-offs, earlier waves, and no sinking under a heavier rider or under your knee in dropknee. The flexible K15 core at 1.5 PP stops that volume turning the board into a plank — it keeps reading the wave and returning energy through a turn. Inside: K15 PP Flex core, 8lb PE deck, a single CFT stringer and mesh. Underneath, a Surlyn slick and a crescent tail with a reinforcing tail piece. Rails are 60/40 — grippy, built for a long face. A strong option if you're over 85 kg or ride mostly weaker surf where a standard board can't find lift.
