Description
The TJ Pro V grew out of the competition TJ Pro but has a different brief, which Jensen and Mann summed up in three words: fast, loose, free. A longboard that keeps surfing fun across a wide range of conditions without becoming a log.
The stated range is average 2–6' surf — which is what an ordinary day looks like.
The changes from the TJ Pro are specific and legible. Lower rocker: easier paddling and easier skating across soft flat sections. Wider nose: more stability on the tip. A squash tail rather than a narrower one: sharper water release and easier turning.
Who it isn't for. Competition wants the TJ Pro. Classic noseriding wants the Special T. And in overhead surf a longboard becomes a hazard to everyone around you.
