Description
Same all-round Flow V2 character, much lighter frame. The whole strut and the centre leading-edge panels are Aluula; the rest is 125 g Performance Dacron with slimmer tube diameters. The 4.3 m weighs 2.25 kg against 2.67 kg for the standard Flow V2.
You feel it as easier pumping in light air, less arm fatigue in gusts and an almost weightless drift on a wave. Tips up to 4.3 m are slimmer so they release pressure faster. The rigid carbon boom is stitched into the strut with no play, and the Ultra-X kit adds a padded waist belt with sliding hook, a Fixed Loop harness line and a sand bag.
On a budget, the standard Flow V2 gives you the same shape for less. Aluula is stiff and light but likes rocks and reef less than Dacron does.
