Ozone Connect Snow Backcountry V4 Harness

The Connect Snow Backcountry V4 is for snowkiters who go deep into the mountains and count every gram. It starts at only about 670 grams and replaces the classic spreader bar with a heavy-duty webbing loop that connects to the quick release — smaller, lighter and less bulky.

Connection in three steps. Open the quick release, feed the loop through the webbing, reload the quick release. That's it.

Support without the bar. Like a climbing harness, it is designed not to ride up. Leg straps are colour-coded, neoprene-lined to grip winter clothing and angled to spread the load; extra padding and neoprene lining add comfort and protect against the cold. Plastic layers and full-length webbing in the back distribute load and add strength.

Made for touring. Webbing loops on each side take a grab handle or the ropes for pulling a sled, and side buckles clip directly into Ozone's Snowkite Technical Backpack, replacing its waist strap.

Who it is not for. Ozone pitches it at experienced backcountry riders. If you're new to snowkiting or prefer the support of a spreader bar, the Connect Snow V4 is easier to use. Not for flying, soaring or climbing — keep your skis on the snow.
