The Connect Waist V4 is Ozone's everyday waist harness — light, supportive and made for any board: twin-tip, surfboard or hydrofoil. It uses more recycled materials than before wherever possible.
Fit first. It comes in seven sizes, XXS to XXL, because a harness only works if it matches your body. Ozone designs it to be worn tight and close: the tighter it fits, the less it rides up or shifts sideways. The mid-section is shaped for extra back support without restricting movement.
No rubbing. Ultra-soft foam under a neoprene outer with a new folded-over edge means no rubbing points, even next to bare skin — riding in boardshorts is rash-free.
Details. The spreader bar is fixed to a reinforced spreader pad to reduce upward twist. There is a low-profile leash ring for short and long leashes, a pull-out hook knife at the front, a grab handle on the back, heavy-duty webbing with webbing savers, and bungee retainers to keep strap ends tidy.
Who it is not for. If the waist harness rides up on you — common for beginners who fly the kite high — the Connect Seat V3 with leg straps is more comfortable.
