Ozone Connect Snow V4 Harness

The Connect Snow V4 is Ozone's harness for snowkiting and land kiting, built for comfort and support with the security of a stainless steel spreader bar. It can be worn over or under your snow gear, and a new smaller size has been added.

Won't ride up. It is designed like a rock-climbing harness. The spreader bar attaches directly to both the harness and the leg straps, which reduces upward twist; it is padded and neoprene-covered. The leg straps are colour-coded, lined with neoprene that grips winter clothing, and connected at an ergonomic angle — and they are removable, which makes the harness useful on snow and land alike.

Easy with gloves. Strong aluminium buckles on the spreader bar and leg straps open, close and adjust smoothly, even under snow gear. Wider, ergonomically shaped panels spread the load over a larger area, with plastic layers and full-length webbing in the back for strength. It weighs from about 970 grams, and side buckles clip straight into Ozone's Snowkite Technical Backpack.

Who it is not for. Backcountry riders counting every gram should look at the Connect Snow Backcountry V4 (from about 670 g, no spreader bar). Ozone also reminds riders that its snow harnesses are not for flying, soaring or climbing — keep your skis and board on the snow.
