Description
The Flite 3S is the three-strut Flite: lighter and livelier than the five, with a wider working range.
The airframe is built from ALUULA — a composite Ocean Rodeo developed with ALUULA Composites. At half the weight it is twice as strong in tension as Dacron. On the water that is not a brochure line: a frame that light keeps the canopy flying from around eight knots, where a conventional kite has already dropped, and a stiffer material stops the profile flexing in a gust, so the bar gives clean feedback.
In light wind it hovers with almost no input; when the wind fills in it holds its shape and stays controllable. A good call if one kite has to cover light wind, freeride and jumping.
