Description
The STRIKE CWC is F-One's light-wind wing, and this sixth version keeps the compactness of the patented CWC design while moving to a full Dacron construction for durability, performance and efficiency. It also inherits the latest design changes from the STRIKE.
Light wind. The CWC turns a light breeze into smooth forward traction and glide. Every pump translates into forward drive, so you can take off easily even in the lightest conditions. It goes upwind well and has a strong high end, so it can absorb gusts if the wind picks up.
Sizes and wind. 6.0 m² 9–20 knots, 7.0 8–18, 8.0 6–15, 9.0 6–14. Span from 3.48 m to 4.28 m, weight 2.97 kg to 3.96 kg. The compact span is the point: a big wing that is still manageable on the water.
Who it is not for. In normal and strong wind a big wing is the wrong tool; a 4.0–5.0 STRIKE or SWING will be far nicer. Mui Ne's winter wind is usually strong enough that this is an extra for the light days, not the main wing.
