Description
The BANGER QuadX is the work of Charles Brodel, six-time kitefoil world champion, and F-One pitches it for all conditions, all levels and all riding styles. It is versatile, but it is particularly strong in Big Air: big lift, long hangtime and full control, even in extreme wind.
QuadX leading edge. The leading edge is QuadX, which makes the kite very stiff and stable in the strongest gusts while keeping it light enough to broaden its wind range. Together with HT80 material, the optimised profile gives smooth depower, intuitive handling and instant bar feedback.
Positioning. F-One highlights the BANGER's ability to reposition itself in the window to suit the conditions — useful when the wind is gusty and you want the kite to stay where it should.
Sizes and wind. The ranges are unusually wide: 5m 26–45+ knots, 6m 24–45, 7m 22–40, 8m 19–35, 9m 17–32, 10m 15–30, 12m 12–24. Kite-only weight from 1.86 kg (5m) to 2.99 kg (12m). All sizes up to 10m fly on a 45 cm bar, 12m on 52 cm.
Who it is not for. There is no size above 12m, so it is not a light-wind kite — for that, the BREEZE. Wave riders who want drift will prefer the ADDIKT.
Choosing. The wide ranges mean many riders can cover the season with two sizes. Tell us your weight and we'll suggest them.
