Description
The TRIGGER TEC is Ralf Grösel's Big Air kite for more riders. It shares its DNA with the TRIGGER Brainchild but is built to be intuitive and accessible: effortless jumps, long hangtime and loops that inspire confidence rather than fear.
Five struts, DLE 140. The five-strut frame and DLE 140 material make the kite stable, efficient and durable, and slightly softer in flight. The ride is smooth and predictable, which makes it easier to unlock big boosts and land softly, whether you are sending your first jump or working on loops.
Handling. Steering pressure is light, and F-One says you always know where the kite is — almost with your eyes closed. The direct, intuitive handling makes loops easier to learn.
Sizes and wind. 6m 32+ knots, 7m 29+, 8m 24+, 9m 19–35, 10m 16–30, 11m 14–23, 12m 12–21. Weight 2.43 kg (6m) to 3.46 kg (12m). Sizes to 10m on a 45 cm bar, 11m and 12m on 52 cm.
Who it is not for. Wave riders and strapless freestyle fans should look at the ADDIKT, which drifts and depowers for the surf. If you want the lightest, most refined version of this kite, the TRIGGER Brainchild costs more but is lighter in every size.
