Description
Jensen's request was specific: a one-board-in-the-trunk option for longboarders who want both trim and turns — something landing between his own TJ Pro and TJ Everyday.
Mann's answer wasn't obvious: he took shortboard-style concaves and put them into a longboard outline, keeping the fin placements Jensen likes on all his boards. Concave determines how water leaves the board, so the shortboard geometry supplies speed and response while the long outline supplies stability on the nose.
They chose the name together: the board is valuable because it covers the whole range for nine-foot-plus riders — trimming on the nose as easily as it carves on rail.
Who it isn't for. Anyone chasing one extreme: pure noseriding is better on the Special T, competition verticality on the TJ Pro. An all-rounder wins at neither.
