The Greedy Beaver resolves a contradiction: the paddle power and glide of a long board against the manoeuvrability of a short one.

Here's how. A large planing surface and single-to-double concave let it trim effortlessly over dead sections where a short board bogs. Put it on rail and step on the rounded pin, and it surfs like a shortboard in the pocket.

One detail worth noting: the bevelled rail. It reduces the board's apparent thickness — the volume stays in the body while the edge enters the water thin, which is where the rapid direction changes come from.
