Description
The DRK won Stab In The Dark X — the test where Kelly Slater rides boards from different shapers blind and picks the best without knowing who made them. It's a rare case of a board being judged with the brand taken out of the equation.
Dan Mann drew on the shape he originally made for Slater when the eleven-time world champion first asked him for boards. The DRK is a refined FRK built for high-performance surfing in good waves.
I-Bolic 2.0 is the Firewire construction.
Who it isn't for. Useless in weak, small surf: the shape assumes power and speed that aren't there. Wrong for beginners and intermediates too — it doesn't forgive imprecise footwork. For versatility look at the Dominator or Boss Up.
