The Fusion 7 is the most versatile twintip CORE make. Where the Era is bought for comfort and materials, the Fusion is bought for response: it reacts faster and sharper while staying usable for ordinary riding.

Unibody Edge Light is the headline change. The wood core is now wrapped entirely in Cartan carbon, producing a closed torsion box — a structure with no soft side. The result is markedly higher rebound, noticeably more pop and a very direct feel underfoot.

Cartan Triax. CORE's established carbon with added unidirectional reinforcement. The point is restoring force: the board does not merely bend and straighten, it returns energy quickly. On the water that reads as a more explosive take-off — the maker says the Fusion 7 releases from the water more easily than any previous generation.

3D core and new channels. The core is modelled in three dimensions rather than simply milled to thickness. The revised multi-channel system delivers grip and flow at once.

Center Bulge, new this generation. A bulge along the centre of the base reduces water resistance and adds calm at speed. A simple solution you feel when the board is moving.

Tucked under rails. The rail is matched to the base: precise edging without the risk of catching.

Beveled deck. The bevelled deck reduces reverse flex under hard edging and improves planing at the same time.

Sustainability without compromise. The core is the same hand-selected Paulownia Light as the Era's, with GreenPoxy resin that is 35% plant-derived.

Who it is not for. Beginners: a stiff carbon construction demands technique and punishes sloppy edging. For your first seasons and relaxed riding the Era makes more sense.
