Description
The Max is CrazyFly's top-of-the-line full-carbon board for new-school big air and for riders who want a dynamic, sporty board with a lot of jumping potential.
Pop. Massive edge grip at high speed plus a quadraxial carbon lay-up — used only on the Max and Raptor Extreme — give it its rocket-launch pop. For 2026 CrazyFly adds NW carbon with fibres in all directions, which balances the flex, adds off-axis support and sharpens feedback. CrazyFly says the ratio of how high it kicks you to how comfortably it rides is the best in its board range.
Landings. A V-shaped keel runs the full length of the bottom. It gives the softest possible landings and also helps the board accelerate faster and reach a higher top speed, which feeds back into take-off.
Weight. Carbon Touch construction leaves out the printed top and bottom sheets, saving at least half a kilo and showing the raw carbon. The Max weighs 2.5 kg — 0.5 kg less than the Raptor Extreme. Paired with CrazyFly's Carboniq binding (0.65 kg), the complete board with accessories is about 3.3 kg ready to ride.
Numbers. 138x42 (2.5 kg) and 140x42 (2.6 kg), stiffness 800 and 790 on the 0–1000 scale. Stance 38/42/46 cm, wake-binding compatible. Edge control track, V tips, Step Cap rails and Fusion sidewalls complete it.
Who it is not for. This is a stiff, expensive tool for riders who jump hard. Freeriders get more comfort for less money from the Raptor or Rootz.
