Description
The Lift is a boosting and hang-time kite — the maker calls it a big air machine. The job of such a kite isn't raw pull but explosive lift at the moment of take-off and a long ride down afterwards. A stable airframe is there for control in strong wind, which is where the big jumps happen.
The Team version differs in two ways. First, the H2 Ultra PE leading edge: less weight, more stiffness. The second is more interesting — UltraBond welded seams instead of stitching.
A stitched seam is a row of holes in the cloth, and that is where canopies tear under load. A welded seam makes no holes: higher strength, lower weight, no water ingress. For a kite that lands from height and works at the top of its range, that matters.
Who it isn't for. Rental and school fleets — an expensive build for the wrong kind of use. Waves need drift. And a big air kite is dangerous for a beginner: it lifts sooner than you expect.
