Description
The Session is a wave and strapless kite. The defining trait is drift: the kite's ability to sit in the window and not fall while you ride the wave and the lines go slack. Without drift wave riding is impossible — the kite folds exactly when you let the bar go.
The second version runs the v3 pulley bridle: maximum depower and the widest range in the family. In practice one size covers more days in the season, and in gusts the kite doesn't yank.
The canopy is cut with a relatively fine entry, which is what lets it fly further forward in the window. For waves that's fundamental: the kite goes ahead and waits for you there instead of pulling back.
Who it isn't for. For sharp, direct steering the fixed bridle of the first version answers faster — pulleys add bar travel. Competition freestyle isn't the brief. And big air has its own models.
