Description
The Switch is the longest-running board model in kiteboarding history — the maker's own claim, not a slogan. It has one brief: comfortable freeriding. Not pop, not stiffness, but making several hours on the water pleasant.
The Team version adds response to the comfort: a centre stringer with uni-directional fibre. Oriented fibre puts longitudinal stiffness exactly where pop needs it without stiffening the whole board. The result is a normally contradictory combination — soft over chop, yet it fires when loaded.
The step-down rail gives maximum edge control, and the board, in the maker's words, excels at loading, popping, landing and cruising alike.
Who it isn't for. Competition freestyle in boots is the Livewire Team. Park riding wants a reinforced edge. And a light rider will find it firm — that's the Diamond.
