Wave kites

Wave kites are judged on drift — how well the kite keeps flying while you ride down the line with the bar out and no tension in the lines. That, plus fast turning and instant relaunch in the impact zone, is what separates a wave kite from a freeride one. Three struts and a swept profile are typical. The Ozone Reo is the reference model in this category. If you are riding strapless, expect to size down from your twintip kite. Worldwide shipping.

Frequently asked questions

Do you ship wave kites internationally?

Yes. We ship worldwide with DHL Express, FedEx and UPS, and use freight forwarders for oversized items like boards and SUPs. The carrier is chosen for your destination, weight and dimensions.

Is this original gear with a warranty?

Yes. K1 is an official dealer for the brands we carry, so everything ships with the manufacturer's warranty. We are also a kite school — our instructors ride this gear themselves.

Can you help me choose?

That is the part we are actually good at. Tell us your weight, level, home spot and what you want to do on the water, and our IKO instructors will suggest a specific model and size.
