VAYU EDGE PRONE Foilboard

The EDGE PRONE is for prone foiling — you paddle with your arms, catch the wave and rise onto the foil with nothing in your hands. The shape is surf-derived with a deliberately wide nose, which gives early lift and confident take-offs on the mellow waves where a narrow board still won't go.

The tail runs the other way, narrowed so the board carves a smooth arc and holds deep lean angles without the rail catching. The deck is recessed: your foot sits lower, pumping is more efficient and control underfoot is more precise. The stiff carbon build transfers energy straight to the foil, and the 100% carbon layup keeps pop-ups fast and manoeuvres light.

Three sizes: 30 L (4'6" x 18.5" x 2.7"), 36 L (4'8" x 19.5" x 2.9") and 44 L (4'10" x 20.5" x 3.4"). EVA deckpad included.

Who it isn't for. Anyone who can't yet catch a wave lying down — 30 to 44 litres won't float a standing rider, and a prone board is not a substitute for a wing board. Anyone wanting one board for everything: this is a specialist. And flat-water riders, who have nothing to catch here — the EDGE PUMP is that board.
