A SUP is heavy enough that the walk from the car park to the water becomes an event — especially over sand, especially alone. A trolley puts the weight on wheels: the board rolls instead of pressing into your shoulder.

For a school it's also about damage: a board that gets dragged picks up scrapes on kerbs and steps.

Who it isn't for. Narrow wheels bog in soft sand, where a two-person carry wins. It takes one board. And the trolley itself has to be left somewhere during the session.
