WHY NOT Savin Kirill Pro Wakeboard bindings

This pro model is about board feel rather than maximum lockdown. The low-profile construction puts your foot closer to the base — less material between leg and board, so the board reads directly through the sole. Medium flex leaves the ankle free to work.

How it closes. A lower lace system with locks, plus a single upper strap. The lace pulls the heel into its pocket precisely, which straps alone never quite manage; the strap keeps entry quick. The combination was specified for the pairing of heavy kicker hits and technical jibbing.

Sizes. S 23,5–25 cm (US 6–7,5, EU 37–39), M 25–26,5 (7,5–9, 39–42), L 27–29 (9,5–11, 42,5–44), XL 28–30,5 (11–12,5, 44–45,5).

Materials. Leather-look PVC outer, white with black detailing. Sandwich Mesh liner over Lycra and SBR. Heel stitched internally, external seam removed. Stainless lace hooks. The rear pull straps are cut from the same wear-resistant PVC as the shell and don't stretch, so the boot still takes your foot easily at the end of a long session.

Included. Spare white straps, white and black nylon laces with reinforced cross braid, POM lace locks in three colours, a Savin Kirill jersey in your binding size, five stickers and threadlocker.

Whose model. Kirill Savin started at ten on Volga Wake Park in Saratov and now rides in Bangkok. His own framing of the boot: it doesn't correct, force or help — it just keeps the connection between rider and board out of the way.

Not for you if you want maximum support on heavy landings — the Spanish Mafia is stiffer for that. Lacing takes a minute to dial in, so if you strip bindings ten times a day, Let's Start is quicker. Note that L and XL overlap between 28 and 29 cm: at that length, judge by foot width, not length alone.
