Description

The XR Pro 2 is the top of CORE's range and their most uncompromising kite for height and hangtime. Where the Pace Pro 2 asks you to load the pop actively, the XR Pro works differently: sheet in and go. The pulley bridle is what makes take-off that easy to find, and CORE kept it for the second generation.

Aluula Gold and a tapered leading edge. Aluula remains the benchmark for stiffness among airframe materials. For the second generation CORE did not make the kite stiffer — they tapered the leading edge diameter instead. Stiffness and power are unchanged, turning speed improves. Five struts in the same composite, with reduced diameter, hold shape under maximum load and translate bar input without delay.

The Intelligent Arc — a wingbeat principle. The signature XR mechanic: fully powered, the kite's projected area increases, giving you extra boost exactly at take-off. It is what people have been buying the XR line for over many years.

Kevlar on the leading edge. The new patches do not just protect — CORE list increased agility as a direct effect of them.

CoreTex 2 canopy. High tear strength with very low stretch and good UV protection. Combined with the rigid frame that gives linear power delivery and a precise bar feel even in demanding conditions.

What a champion says. Zara Hoogenraad, 2025 Red Bull Megaloop winner, describes it as extreme height, the smoothest loops yet, and that extra second lift in the downloop. We quote that as a team rider's opinion, not as a measured fact.

Who it is not for. Anyone not chasing height. This is expensive, specialised equipment; for all-round riding there is the NXS, and for calmer, more affordable big air the XR X on dacron rather than Aluula.

Seven sizes. 5 m: 22-42 knots, 6 m: 20-42, 7 m: 17-38, 8 m: 15-36, 9 m: 13-33, 10 m: 12-30, 12 m: 11-26 knots. Deliberately optimised for the CORE Sensor 4 bar.
