QuadCore FLEX sits at the top of the Hubb Edition range. The core is built from 1.2 PP rather than the usual 1.9, which makes the board significantly lighter while keeping the recoil polypropylene is loved for. What it adds is controlled flex: the board loads up under pressure and gives the energy back instead of absorbing it. Sci-Five is a five-channel system moulded into the slick. Water is forced through five narrow hydrodynamic channels, cavitation forms in the tail and friction drops. In practice that's extra speed across flat sections and more bite on a steep face. Surlyn slick (faster and better at holding its shape than HDPE), 8lb PE deck with the Hubb contour, nose bulbs, a single CFT stringer — a carbon tube in place of the epoxy one, lighter and more responsive.
