Description
The QUEST is F-One's pocket wing for heading offshore, following the bumps and wandering. It is designed to open pocket winging and downwinding to everyone, from first-timers to experienced riders.
Soft and simple. A softer canopy, shorter lines and a simplified panel layout make it very light, smooth in turns and easy to stow and redeploy. It depowers well, pumps easily and stays steady and predictable when conditions get rough.
Double Dynamic Bridle. A new bridle system makes the wing feel more direct and easier to handle, and reduces the risk of tangling.
Compared with the FRIGATE. F-One is honest: the QUEST may not have the FRIGATE's speed, but it makes up for it with control and comfort that let you ease into the bumps.
Sizes and wind. 2.0 m² 28+ knots, 2.5 25–38, 3.0 21–35, 3.5 19–33, 4.0 17–28, 4.5 15–24, 5.0 13–21, 6.0 11–19. The wing alone weighs 0.34 to 0.70 kg; with vertical bar and harness line, 0.46 to 0.85 kg. Bar length 21, 25 or 35 cm depending on size.
Who it is not for. If you want maximum speed upwind, the FRIGATE. If you can't foil yet, learn on a regular wing first.
