Description
The EOS V3 is a new design rather than a facelift. The defining choice is a shorter wingspan: the wing is more compact and more reactive, easier to move through manoeuvres and quicker to accelerate. The trade is top-end light-wind range, and VAYU does not pretend otherwise.
The leading edge uses longer segment lengths with an ALUULA-reinforced centre section, which is where the direct feel and the stability under load come from. The canopy was redrawn with radial wingtip panels and a new seam layout to spread load more evenly — the part you notice in gusts. DKC-160 dacron, Teijin D2 and D5 canopy cloths and Dimension-Polyant X-Ply windows fill out the build.
The Z-Strut is the fifth step in a strut lineage that started with the bridge boom five years ago. It supports the canopy better while leaving more usable space for your hands mid-manoeuvre. A new-generation Click-Boom is included, and the wing takes the optional pistol grip the brand has announced separately.
Who it isn't for. Light-wind hunters chasing maximum low end — the shorter span is a deliberate trade, and a large AURA V4 will fly earlier on those days. Racers are also in the wrong place: the X-Race on full ALUULA GOLD is the wing for that.
