Description
A comb does two jobs. The teeth cut fresh texture into wax that's gone smooth, so the same layer grips again and you don't need to add more. The straight edge scrapes the whole lot off once it's grey with sand.
It's the item most often lost — keep a spare in the board bag.
Who it isn't for. Stripping wax with a comb in cold weather is hard work; warm the board in the sun or use a remover. And don't scrape a soft board's deck.
