Ocean & Earth Max Wax Cold Water 75g Components

Wax is chosen by water temperature, not by brand. Too hard for warm water and it simply won't grip — your foot slides on a smooth film. Too soft for cold and it smears and collects sand. Getting the temperature wrong costs more than buying the cheap brand.

The softest wax in the range, for cold water. It melts in the heat, so there's no point carrying it in the tropics.

A 75 g bar is the standard size — several sessions' worth with regular topping up.

Who it isn't for. The wrong temperature band and the wax simply doesn't work: that's the classic mistake. A base coat doesn't replace a top coat, and a top coat without a base wears off faster. And soft boards generally don't need wax at all.
