Ocean & Earth KK Midlength Epoxy Softboard 6'6" Surfboard

The KK is a midlength built around women's surfing, and that isn't a marketing line: volume is added forward, where the chest sits while paddling. Float in exactly that area solves the main paddling problem — the nose doesn't sink, the board tracks flat, and you get into the wave earlier.

6'6" is a deliberate compromise: still short enough to turn, already long enough to glide. On small, mellow waves that's the difference between catching it and not; on decent ones it's the ability to draw a long line rather than fight for a snap.

Construction is an epoxy core with a soft deck. The soft deck here isn't about beginners, it's about safety: a midlength can hit you coming out of a wave, and a soft deck forgives that.

Who it isn't for. Anyone wanting sharp, short-radius surfing — 6'6" won't turn like a shortboard. Midlengths aren't the tool for powerful barrelling waves either. And size by weight: below average, the board will feel over-buoyant and skittish.
