Description
The KK is a midlength designed around women's surfing, and that isn't a marketing line: volume is added forward, where the chest sits while paddling. Float in exactly that area solves the main paddling problem — the nose doesn't sink, the board tracks flat, and you get into the wave earlier.
At 7'0" it's a confident midlength: it glides like a long board and still turns. On small, mellow waves the difference between catching it and not is usually length.
Construction is an epoxy core with a soft deck. The soft deck is about safety here: a midlength can hit you coming out of a wave.
Who it isn't for. Sharp, short-radius surfing — 7'0" won't pivot like a shortboard. Powerful barrelling waves aren't midlength territory either. And size by weight: a light rider will find it over-buoyant.
