Description
A polycarbonate set as first fins or working replacements. The material is tough and springy and, crucially, cheap: at the stage where the board regularly meets the bottom and other people's boards, breaking composite fins hurts.
Three sizes, chosen by rider weight and board size: Small at 108 mm tall on a 104 mm base, Medium 111.5 x 105 mm, Large 118.5 x 113.5 mm. The rule is simple — more weight and more board, more fin. Too small and the tail slides; too large and the board goes stiff.
The single-tab version fits Futures boxes, the dual-tab fits FCS.
Who it isn't for. Advanced surfers: polycarbonate is softer than composite and flexes off at speed — that's OE2 or OE3 territory. Wrong for big waves. And check your box system before ordering: single and dual tab are not interchangeable.
